Meet the driving force behind every meal that exits our kitchen; meet Chef Andrei.


McGreevy's is known for having whiskey on tap and wall-to-wall coverage of historic baseball memoribilia.  We're known as America's First Sports Bar, the home of the Dropkick Murphys and the best place to be on Marathon Monday.  We're known for our week-long St. Patrick's Day party, our loyal staff and our close proximity to Fenway Park.  We're known as Boston's Best Bar, an accolade bestowed upon us in 2015 at the Boston Nightlife Awards.


We're known for a lot of things--and now we want to be known for the best pub food you'll find in Back Bay.  Enter our secret weapon, Chef Andrei Enikeev.


His resumé is impressive, his dedication to quality is excellent and his food is next-level delicious.  Quite frankly the only thing we don't love about Andrei is his loyalty to Orioles. 

Here's a little more about the man behind the menu...some quick facts about what you can expect from Chef Andrei:


Since the age of 15, Andrei has worked in restaurant kitchens.  It all started at Clam Shack Seafoods in Kennebunk, Maine and has since included popular Boston restaurants such as North 26 in the Millenium Bostonian Hotel, Abby Lane Food & Spirits, Back Bay Harry's and Broad Street Riot.


He takes pride in using only the freshest local produce, meats & seafood and makes most everything on the menu from scratch.


You don't have to worry about us ditching the pub staples you've always loved at McGreevy's; we're just making it better and adding some new dishes to our menu. 


Andrei knows a LOT about pickling, charcuterie and butchery.  His talent was even enough to convince boss man to get McGreevy's our very own in-house smoker (STAY TUNED--this will be AMAZING.)


When asked what 3 ingredients he couldn't live without he listed fresh garlic, potatoes, cheese and Kosher salt. (Rebel)


Don't be surprised when you start regularly coming to McGreevy's for the Beet Salad.  Andrei makes a mean burger, has mastered Irish cuisine as well as introduced a few items that will knock your socks off.
